The Mighty Have Fallen!

As I'm sure you have deduced, I did NOT succeed at National Novel Writing Month in November. The grim reality is that I scarcely progressed beyond the word count on the insidious word meter erstwhile posted.

But it is a new year and time for a clean slate. Thanks to the nagging . . . oh, I mean ENCOURAGEMENT . . . of a good friend, I vow to get back on track this year. I pledge to update this journal weekly, at the minimum. To that end, I just squandered two hours learning to create reminders on the computer. If I did everything properly, the machine should give me a gentle reminder every Sunday to come here and deliver an update.

Now let's pray I have something worthy to post each time!
